The street frontage along Kingston Road will be activated, both increasing the vibrancy and improving the overall street scene.

The pavement along Kingston Road will also be widened to provide a 4m wide pedestrian area between the kerb and building line. It will contain bicycle stands for public use and new tree planting on Kingston Road.

The area experiences a high volume of people visiting Kingston Road, and so with the introduction of two ground floor commercial units the proposed development will re-invigorate this important site, adding new commercial space which could include a mixture of uses such as convenience shop, café, office space or gym.
